Came across this site today - superfast propeller engines for jet aircraft w props Jett Engineering they used to be called Dub Jett I believe It may be handy for one of my future projects ;-)

So, with a Jett, you'd have piled into the dirt even faster! Cool. I still have to finish that Sukhoi, and still have to do something with the Mig-29. Tempting to sell them both, and the F-4 Phantoms, that would clear out a pile of space.

You have to love the moral comfort and support provided by forum members after owners have a mishap with their aircraft ;-) I'm well overdue PS: That was only a 91fx? That Mig had decent speeds

it was an old 91fx. they had wicked power. although i forgot it was on a jett pipe. And for the record, the engine quit on that plane. And it flew like a bag of bricks with no power.

Cause it was insanely heavy. I'd certainly replace the ridiculous steel rod for the wings, with aluminum or carbon fibre. Not sure why, but the airframe on mine seems way lighter than the one you bought.
