OK Gents and Gals,
I've begun my venture into gas engines and I need some recommendations as to a good general purpose prop for my new Turnigy 30cc Gas Engine. I've already been informed (thanks Greg) to throw away the spark plug that comes with it and replace it with a CM6 but I need to know what the standard RPM of this engine should be and a recommended prop to get me there. The web site gives me 16x8, 17x8, 17x10, 18x8, and 18x10 possible props that is a massive range. I don't want to purchase them all and use the tach to find out which is the one I need and want. The intended plane this engine will power is a 12' telemaster that may weight in around 30 lbs
All recommendations most welcome
Kevin

bigger diameter, lower pitch. You don't want speed (pitch), you want torque, for heavy lifting. 16 X 8 is what I use on my 20cc gassers, I'd be looking at the 18 X 8 myself.
