I will see if I can get a community affairs day for next Friday to help out. If I can't, what are the other setup timings?

Christine hasn't given me a time for Thursday afternoon to unload the truck as she doesn't have a time yet. As for Friday it depends on if we get everything setup Thursday afternoon. But I would guess if necessary 0800 and as far as Friday afternoon anytime after 1pm (1300) we can start to setup for the club.
I'll try and pin down a time on Monday and will post.

I just had my email calendar popup reminding me that on Friday 8 April during our setup at the Sea King Club I will have to be late arriving that afternoon. I have one last function to attend as outgoing PMC of the Mess and that is the official PMC handover where I formally stand down and Sgt King takes command as President of the Mess. It is mandatory that I be there as commanding Officers and former PMCs are all invited and I'm the guest of honour.
Also that day is the WCWO Coffee at 11 am and I need to be there as well. So I'll be out of commission from 1030 -1430 Friday so I won't be at the setup until after 1430

Here is the latest from Christine for timings...if any one is available during times listed please feel free to drop by and lend a hand with tables and chairs.
"Hi Kevin,
I have booked the truck for hauling tables to meet me in Willow Park at 1300 hrs on Thursday afternoon, 7 April 2016. Once the tables are loaded, we come back to the Sea King Club to unload. The return of the tables is scheduled for 0930 Monday, 11 April; loading at the Sea King Club, and then travel to Willow Park for unloading at MSA stores.
If you have some OJTs or other folks that are able to assist with this manual labour aspect of the show, I would deeply appreciate the extra help.
Thanks very much!
Christine"
Christine will car pool any volunteers over to willow park and back if they can help load the tables. I will be at the Sea King Club re-arranging the existing tables and chairs until she returns. Any help will be more than welcome, On both or either days.
Just drop me an email of PM so I know I can count on you.

HEFA is in!!
I reproduce here, in the interests of coordination, an exchange of emails with Brian Gray of HEFA...
Good Morning Brian:
Always good to hear from you, and I’m glad you’re stepping up to help coordinate HEFA’s participation.
There is indeed space for HEFA beside or with SRCF. Kevin Mckay of SRCF is coordinating space and related matters and has liaised with Andrew Curran until Andrew became swamped with family matters. If you have any kind of a club banner, I believe there is opportunity to hang it. Kevin’s email is kevinrmckay@gmail.com and he is reachable on the SRCF Forum at “justkevin.” See also the first thread under the “Events” category on the SRCF Forum, for further context. I shall also post this exchange of emails there to inform all hands of HEFA’s welcome participation.
Marc Cayouette, “coyote” on the SRCF Forum, is coordinating SRCF’s people to man the booth, but not doing so for HEFA people because your participation has been uncertain until now. Suggest you plan on coordinating your own HEFA people’s schedule. Obviously, being in close proximity, we can probably swap/share people if necessary. You do not have to submit a list to Christine Hines or anybody else, just identify yourselves as exhibitors. Quoting from a forum post regarding setup times, "....for clubs and vendors it is Friday afternoon and evening and if needed Saturday morning from 0800-until opening @ 10 AM.” I plan to be there some of Friday afternoon/evening to help with set-up - you and/or any HEFA guys will be welcome as well. Help will also be needed for tear-down after the show ends
I know SRCF plans to exhibit its recently-acquired Apprentice as a trainer, so obviously no need to bring yours or mine. Bring anything else you wish to show. I remember an earlier post on SRCF by John O’Sullivan indicating he plans to bring a glider.
Best regards, Ron

Missing you at Shannon! The weather is certainly getting nicer and I hope to see you with that Apprentice up in the air with some amazing landings! Regarding the hobby show... It takes a village to make this a success. Andrew was trying to pull this together but had limited time before the death of his father-in-law; I am trying to pull together a list of participants to confirm that at least a few people will be available both days. Participation is not overwhelming but we have a few people who have offered to participate in the HEFA booth, which I am understanding is immediately beside the SW booth. To whom do we provide a list of participants? I have seen the name “Christine” but I am not sure how to contact her. We have the following onboard more dedicated to the HEFA cause: · Andrew Smith · John O’Sullivan · Brian Gray · Mike Churcher · Steve Wiper Others are shared with SW and include Vic and Richard. Are you able to point me in the right direction so that we can avoid issues at the door? Also, I am understanding that you will have your Apprentice at the show? If so, then I am not sure that it makes a lot of sense for us to have another there as well. Maybe we will focus on some other crafts. Let me know? Thanks!

Boy my Back is sure hurting, Myself and 4 others completely setup the Sea King Club this afternoon. The original plan as sketched out on paper did not work in practice and it took some rearranging (several times ) to come up with a floor plan that will work for all vendors. We are still co located with HEFA in the north east corner of the Ashley lounge. the only section that the original layout did not have to change. Christine has the plastic table covering so if we can't find ours she will provide. I took pictures after all the setup was done and will down size a few so they will be able to be posted here tonight. Here is one We are located at the wall Attachments:

With only one member from the club helping setup (thanks John Fennell) and four 406 OJT members helping out plus myself we really earned our pay today. However on Monday I won't have a full crew equal to today to put everything back the way it was. IF anyone can spare two hours Monday morning from 0930-1130 My back will really appreciate it. Monday will be a lot shorter than today as we had to rearrange tables several times to get the number of tables Christine needed. Monday is only putting the original tables and chairs back where they came from (no improvising where they should go)
Please let me know if you will be available either on this post or PM
Thanks

If I may suggest that we try to do all the tear down and original setup back on Sunday so that Monday all that is left is the loading of the tables into the vehicle? I can only help Monday from 0700 till about 0830. Sorry but my work won't let me come in loate due to year end deliverables.

The truck won't be showing up until 0930 but if we do a lot of the tear down and rearranging on Sunday afternoon that will help a lot for Monday.

Seaking club is on first left past main gate and first large building on the left Once you get in building, turn right into a main hall past washrooms. We are setup on the "kitty corner" of main room entrance - easy to spot since our banners are hanging Once facing tables, we are on right side under our banner and we have half of the middle table All we have to do is bring our planes Fri night or Sat. Sea king club is open Friday night for setup till 9pm and doors open for setup at 0800 Sat morning with event beginning at 10 AM Schedule is included
