I have the Apprentice trainer aircraft complete with 5 lipo batteries. All 5 batteries were brought back to my place, a storage charge put on them for the winter. A note to all electric dudes, if you like your house, make sure your batteries are in fire proof containers (aka ammo cases). And if you can, store them away from ignitables. There have been quite a few instances of garage & house fires caused by lipo batteries. Scooterboy

I have two trainers, the Alpha 40 and the Alpha 60. Both are resting comfortably at room temperature in a reasonably clean, safe environment.

Upon loading the Alpha 60 into my vehicle a few minutes ago, for tomorrows field opening, I noticed the wing bolt anchors had been hit sometime during storage and would have let go as soon as any positive 'G' on take off was applied. They are now repaired and warrantied for the first flight!
See you at the field tomorrow, I'll have gate open around 09:30
