Hey folks; I thought this might of some interest to you. After seeing plans and building article for a very cool slope glider on Ebay; I thought I'd do a search myself for the plan in case someone else had published the plan. After a bit of searching I stumbled upon the following site (which is where I believe the person on Ebay was getting the info). I registered, and downloaded the plan and article at no cost. It seems to have a large variety of plans and articles on models of all sizes and configurations from days gone by and today. Check it out when you get a chance. aerofred.com/Kevin Baker

My favourite: www.outerzone.co.uk/Be aware that from what I've been reading recently, Aerofred has a rep for hosting plans without obtaining copyright permission. Hip Pocket Aero and Outerzone supposedly make an effort to avoid copyright infringement.

Hip Pocket Aero and Outerzone supposedly make an effort to avoid copyright infringement. None of them have ever contacted me about copyright and mine are on quite a few sites. My real problem with some of those sites is that they credit whoever sends the plan to them as"author". Hip pocket in particular. Several of my plans there with others named on them. One guy even took one of my plans for electric, drew a .15 glow engine in place of the e-motor and put his name on the plan as "designer". I just stopped putting them out there. Lol

Lol That is just plain wrong! I don't blame you for not putting anything else out. Have you contacted the sites about your plans? I get the impression that Outerzone and maybe Hip Pocket would actually take them down. One of the enduring problems with the internet: there's a large body of folks out there that think they can just upload anything... and also a bunch of people that think everything on the internet should be free. Okay, that's really 2 problems, but they're two sides of the same coin.

The one time I complained, the site took the plan down. Didn't correct the problem and keep the plan which would have taken a few keystrokes.
Btw, the guy who changed the motor on my drawing did so with a motor drawing he scammed from someone else. Lol. Guess he just had enough cad skill to place it in the drawing.
This was all about ten years ago and I just moved on and set up a web site where I sold my plans, so I guess you could say they did me a favor. Lol. I sold quite a number all over the world. Just took that site down in June as I hadn't kept up with new drawings.
