Some pics of my first building project below. Ready to run up the engine and waiting on Callie Graphics for the markings, both of which must be deferred until I get back from Florida. Fitting and covering the cowl took almost as long as building the rest of the plane - I must have had the mounting plate and engine on and off a dozen times! I’m pleased with the build and fit of the cowl now but not happy with the covering. I may remove that and just paint it because it’s worse than you can see in the picture. Looks great, Ron.
Your cowling doesn't look too bad. In fact, you did a great job with this, considering how difficult it is to do compound curves with most plastic coverings.
Paint would certainly do a cleaner job, but then you have to be able to match the colour.
