I have purchased a card, on behalf of SRCF and HEFA, which I hope to give to Steve at some point. Kevin Baker or myself will be bringing it to indoor flying tomorrow to have everyone attending sign it.

On FB is this obit:
Wiper, Stephen Douglas, age 52 of Cole Harbour, NS passed away peacefully on March 28, 2019 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Following graduation from Dartmouth High School, Stephen proudly served in the Royal Cdn Navy for 12 years, and was especially proud to have served during the Gulf War.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife Lisa (Thibeau) and his two loving sons Matthew Douglas (Halifax) and Michael William (Edmonton), and his baby girl Lucy.
Stephen is also survived by his loving parents Whitney Douglas and Helen Marie (Lake Echo), his brother Stacey (Carolyn) of Hammonds Plains and sister Susie (Mike) of Porters Lake.
Uncle Steve will be forever missed by his nieces (Courtney, Britney, Madison, Morgan and Taylor), his lifetime friends and his whole extended family from Leamington, Ontario.
Stephen's great love of life, sense of humor and anything that flew will be greatly missed. Also a regular feature on his neighborhood-street activities acting like a big kid, he was also affectionately known as “Big Steve.” His garage and Saturday Night Classics will never be the same.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019 (12:00-2:00 pm) at the Royal Cdn Legion Centennial Branch 160 (703 Main Street, Dartmouth). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Remains have been entrusted to the Atlantic Funeral Home and a private family internment will occur at a later date.

Two weeks ago Steve was at the gym and he helped out another Flyers with his Flying Pizza box. I was able to capture these photos as he made it fly.
