I'll be at Shearwater Museum tomorrow and I'm planning on heading out to the field around noon to batten down the items that may blow around on Thursday. It's not a hurricane but we will be getting some very high winds (48Km/h gusting to 72Km/h from the east, the same direction as Hurricane Dorian). I don't want to go around picking up all the cones and tables again.
If anyone is in the area tomorrow at noon I could use a second pair of hands to help move a few of the heavier items up close to the sheds for protection. I'll pickup the key and unlock the gate for 12:00
If you can make it for 12 great , if not I'll get as much as possible put away for safe keeping.

Thanks Dennis,
At noon today Dennis and I managed to store all the tables and traffic cones in or beside the wooden shed (western side) so as to protect them from the coming storm and heavy winds. With Dennis and my two wheel moving cart we were able to move everything in just over 15 minutes. Come this weekend we will need tomove everything back to where it belongs prior to any flying.
One other point ...Halifax water commission was digging up the road right in front of MacDonald beach road today, directly across the road, doing repairs of some kind. So watch the area come the weekend as it most likely will be loose gravel where you turn into the gate area.
Thanks again Dennis

Apologies folks. I missed this.
I'll spring for donuts during our Winter Work Party.
PS: On plus side I replaced belt in my snow blower this afternoon.
