If anyone has no where to fly.......Yesterday as I was out flying at the Avon club field, I (we) were offered the opportunity to come fly at Shannon Park, by members of HEFA, as guests. This is in response to our generous offer for them to fly at Shearwater a few years ago when HEFA was on the verge of losing Shannon Park as a flying site. The only restriction is... planes must be electric and there is a weight limit I believe is under 6 pounds (can't remember exact weight)
Thanks to John O'Sullivan

Hey Kevin - a small point, but the HEFA offer is just part of being a sister club in the region and focused on our members flying safely while enjoying the social sides (while maintaining distances, of course) of the hobby. The offer to fly at other clubs is pretty much always out there from every club provided that MAAC and health orders are followed.
The weather currently looks okay Saturday morning with light winds... even indoor flyers could do well. We have a "soft start" and some members will be there at 7am; others arrive later in the 9am range.
Hope to see some folks there!! Lots of familiar faces for sure!
Brian

Thanks Brian,
I won't be able to make it as I have been heavy into landscaping my house and am quite tired and sunburned over the last two days. Need a few days to heal.
