New to the forum, new to the hobby, visiting Shannon Park weekends while Shearwater remains shut down, biding my time learning RealFlight 9.5 simulator w/ Interlink DX, figured out how to add my DX8 as a training control and configure an aircraft on the DX8--all good fun except for flying an actual RC aircraft.
In the meantime adding airports to RealFlight 9.5 that look like Shearwater and Shannon Park, guessing this has already been done by those knowledgeable in the craft
After watching folks actually crash into the weeds occasionally yesterday at Shannon Park not sure why RealFlight 9.5 won't let me modify what it models as weeds as "collidable".
Suggestions?

bnichols,
Sorry I can't help you out there as I'm still using real-flight 6.5 as an already sanctioned MAAC pilot I only use the flight sim during the winter months to keep my skills up for the springtime.
I'm now waiting on my new drone to arrive Wednesday so I can go out to the Avon Field and try and locate a fellow's Apprentice that decided to go rogue and fly away last weekend. many acres of 10' high corn fields are hard to search on foot. I'm hoping a top view from a drone will narrow the search area. We spent 3-4 hours yesterday rooting around with no luck other that scratches and sunburns. in 10' corn you can't even see the horizon and we were using compasses to know where the flying field was in relation to us.
