With my Corsair done, figured I'd better get on Mike Herman's Top Flite Corsair. Mike glassed and painted it in Iraqi Airforce markings (post-WW2, when they were big British allies). It's got an RCGF 20cc for power. I've finished all the servo install and controls, retracts (e-flite electrics) in the wing, and tonight I got the elevator and rudder servos installed, along with the controls. I also built a new servo tray for the tailwheel retract servo, and the tailwheel steering. Once that's installed, then I just need to install the throttle servo, and I'll test all the systems out. Hopefully Mike will let me do the test flying honours. I originally built the plane, in box std monokote colours, and flew with a Saito 100. She flies like a pattern ship, very fast, but super slow approach and landing. I expect with the RCGF 20cc, she'll be faster, and more stable than my Corsair, due to longer tail moment. Can't wait to see her fly again!
