Hey Indoor Flying Enthusiasts, This is to notify you that indoor flying at the Shearwater Gym continues to be available to us through the Spring, and in fact, is now open from 0900 to 1230 every Sunday until further notice! So, when the weather on any given Sunday proves unsuitable for outdoor flying (really, in the Maritimes... Fog, rain, high winds.... ), now you can avoid getting skunked and take your flying indoors for the morning. I am awaiting word from the Recreation Staff about availability of the gym through the summer, as they are just now planning their summer schedule, but there is a possibility that we may have a slot for indoor flying right through the summer, as well. It just keeps getting better! Cheers, Vic

Hi there. Just got my MAAC card this week, and was wondering if the runway would be open today. I realize the current wind speed of 29kmph might be excessive for some of the lighter RC/AC, though I’ve had great success flying in 35kmph with little instability. Having said that, will the indoor venue be open as in the latest post, starting at 0900? Looking forward to catching some air. Brian Watters:)
