I was testing ignition and had the plane binded with the radio after a few minutes of idle on all the servos all of sudden I hear a noise like something had just reset so I look at the radio and it was out of reach so I had not caused the noise. So I waited another few minutes watching the plane and it did it again this time I saw my trottle servo go and do a foul back and Forth opening the trottle full open and go right back to idle good thing the motor was not running. I have never seen this before should I trust this servo?

Were any of the other servos twitching? what is the radio system (spektrum or Futaba) ? At first thought it sounds like you might have a intermittent feedback cct in the servo. (senses where the arm is) Was there any vibrations around the airplane when this happened, you said the engine was not running? I would suspect the servo is unserviceable and replace it on spec and see what the plane does.

New or used servo?
Try setting it up on servo tester runiing it 10-20 tmes t see if servo reacts the way it should
I sometime used older servos on flaps or, rudder but that can bring issues but not on main flying surfaces
PS: Worked all day removing RV flooring to replace. One glass fo wine tonight and I'm falling asleep
