As reported in Dec at the AGM (4-5 Apr) the Spring hobby show has been rescheduled it is now officially 18-19 April. I have received an email from the Museum and will be submitting our form requesting tables as per the last few years. Based on years past we will most likely be limited to 6 tables and we should be in the same far corner as always. If anything changes I'll let everyone know. In a couple months (March) we will be looking for members to man the display and supply aircraft of various types.
More to follow as things progress.
UPDATED >>>>Cancelled Spring Hobby show will now be weekend of 18-19 April (after Easter long weekend)

Here is some of the fine details for the show:
The show will be held at the Sea King Club and will be open from 1 - 9 PM Friday, April 17th, and from 8 - 10 AM Saturday April 18th for exhibitor and vendor setup. Exhibitors and vendors are expected to remain "setup" until 4 PM on Sunday.
If anyone would like to help setup the club on Thursday (I'm assuming Thursday will be setup for the museum staff) please contact me and we can help out the museum move and setup tables. I will confirm with Christine at the museum on the date, but she is always looking for extra hands to help out. I will post once setup date/timing is confirmed.
PS I have submitted the registration form a few minutes ago.

I am still a working stiff, so providing assistance through the week is a bit difficult. However; would be happy to assist on the weekend as usual. Let me know when and where you need me and I will do my best to assist. Regards Kevin Baker

Understood Kevin,
This is a blanket post for those that could be free and willing to help out. I don't expect an immediate response as this event is still over 2 months away. I just wanted to get it posted so I don't forget it in two months, damn memory isn't what it was. ................
what was I saying?

From the Museum the Spring hobby show is cancelled.
Dear Friends,
It is with sincere regret that I must announce that our annual spring hobby show, planned for 18-19 April 2020, must be cancelled. This cancellation is in response to public health concerns over Covid-19 and the best interests and health of our visitors, exhibitors and colleagues. We plan to try to reschedule the event, possibly for the fall. Watch our Facebook and other social media spaces for updated news as it evolves, and I will continue to update you via email when information about rescheduling becomes available.
I would like to thank all of our exhibitors and supporters of our annual spring hobby show for your continued support of this great event. Without you, there is no show, and we are continually grateful for your participation.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions.
Very best regards to all,
Christine
