Surfing MAAC, I came across this key info for some of our members. A MAAC membership is required for ALL pilots when flying in Canada. QUOTE The former mutual agreement between MAAC and the AMA is no longer in effect because of changes in Canada’s flying regulations. UNQUOTE Check here for more info - www.maac.ca/en/foreign_membership.phpAdditionally, effective January 1, 2022, AMA will require Canadian MAAC members to join AMA for coverage to fly at US fields and events. These are likely direct results of both Cdn and US air federal agencies cracking down and then our respective RC orgs concerned with potential liability.

We have no problem in this regard for the club. everyone so far is a MAAC member so we are covered. I don't know if any of our jet or war-bird guys are planning a trip down south but a good point to ensure they know.
