Tomorrow Vic an I will be heading to the field to mow the the field. Vic will be using his tractor and bush hog while I'll be whipper snipping around all objects (lights and porta pottie etc). In a few weeks I'll see about mowing the field with my ride-on, hopefully this will get the grass under control. I'll see what I can do about grass on the runway as well tomorrow.

Well the hay field is now down to a level a ride-on mower can handle!! Vic and I spent 2 hrs out at the field , Vic mowing and me Whipper Snipping the runways. Only one shear pin was injured in this endeavour with a 10 minute break the bush-hog was back up and running. In the next week or so we need to get a couple ride-on mowers out there and finish the grass off to a more manageable height. Does anyone else have a ride-on and can help me out?
Oh by the way the hump out in the grass off the end of the short runway is gone. Vic's tractor has a bucket and he took it down and spread out the dirt. next year we won't have to worry about not being able to mow it.

Hi Kevin, I have a ride-on, but no way of getting it there unless someone has a trailer I could borrow. Tim

Unfortunately, the bed of my Ford Ranger is slightly too narrow to accommodate the mower.
