All,
Received the email copied below this morning and need to know if 2-3 people can help man the table and supply a plane (small ones, sorry no room for JETS and Large scale unless we opt for out door table). We did this 3 yrs ago and it was fun. We had all kinds of kids with parents asking questions. I have all the posters and MAAC info in our club bag so just need a couple guys for 2 or 4 hrs shift to man the table. the entire event only runs from 10AM -2PM (4 hours) on a Saturday.
Anyone interested let me know this week as I have to respond before Friday. I would also like to know your preference on indoor table or outdoor.
This would be great Public relations (PR) for the Club.
Kevin
Hi All,
The MFRC has request that I extend an invitation to our groups to inquire if they are interested to be a part of the Community Fall Fair event in September. You would get a booth and be able to directly interact/handout items with military members and families within our community. Please let me know if you are interested by EOD July 29.
Thr event will focus on inside and outside activities. We do have outdoor tents too (courtesy of the military). We are hoping to have anywhere from 300 to 400 families attend. We are hosting a Farmer’s Market and The Veteran Farm Project will be attending selling farm-fresh produce, baked goods, preserves, flowers, and artwork. We anticipate we’ll have 40 vendors and food trucks on site.
• There is no cost for clubs to attend.
• I am happy to provide you with a spot either inside or outside, along with a table and chairs.
• Please let me know if you require electricity.
Event Name: Bluenose Bienvenue: A Meet and Greet for Military Families
