VERY NICE Marc!
You always seem to have a keen eye for kit bashing/painting

Looks better from a distance, so should be ok flying. Up close, you can tell it is sloppy. I wanted to try 'silver panels' to give a more realistic look. Dollar store paint seems good for that. Can mix many shades using silver, blue, and black paints.

I use it all the time, seems to stay on very well and cover well. I also use it in the air gun but have to water it down a fair bit or it clogs up the nozzle. Can't beat that price.

Fyi, For the panels I just brushed the paint on with a crisp edge paint brush. Used that to 'make' other panels.

For airbrushing with latex, Benjamin Moore sells "retarder", also known as extender, I've got enough for a few years, bring an empty pill bottle over anytime, and I can fill you up. Works wonders.
