My SeaFury with flaps and robart air retracts, I think it is going to be electric with Hyperion Z5035-20 motor 10-12cell. Its my second kit build . It will propably be a while before i fly it (more practice flying) Dennis (timberman) Attachments:

OK we'll have to start a forum for deciding colour schemes, lol or we'll all be flying the same airplane! I've got around 4 flights on my Sea Fury, no bad habits really, but using E-Flite Retracts, and you have to be very gentle on the landings, they'll bend quite easily. Also, cooling is an issue, one runup with the cowl on, and engine was overheating. I hadn't installed the cooling baffle as per the plans, so need to do that. You might want to do something similar, to focus all the incoming air to the motor, and then have an exit for it as well. Looking forward to seeing it fly!

I'm still working on it .not ready to fly it so might as well make it look good(gave it some panel lines ,not to scale ) Installed motor and esc and did a run up . Question: the motor I have is a Hyperion Z5035-20 (10-12cell) and using a pheniox 85HV esc , 2 5s 4000 15 c lipos in series , I get approx. 600watts on my watt meter with around 19amp draw, will this be enough power? using 18X10 prop. Definately a question for the electric guru's. Another option is to look for threads on RC Canada, for Top Flite electric conversions. I know a Super Tigre .57 nitro is plenty of power! lol

I actually have a super tiger .61 , I have 2 other set of plans a hurricane and spitfire that it might go in. The lines are done with black sharpie and a silver metallic pen marker, the lite silver on the blue and the black on the grey.

thickness? I got a couple of super thin markers from Micheal's, not cheap, but the thinnist I've seen to date, .5 mm I think. The marker colours really match well.

the black is standard black sharpie ,ultra fine point permanent marker ,and the silver is Mainstays metallic marker (not a fine point)

That looks good. For power, you want 100 watts per pound for sport flying.
Cheers, Marc
