Just finished testing that battery. it is toast! it was at 2% and after a full charge it only reached 60%. I'll keep cycling it and see if I can get it working ....if not it will have to be replaced in the spring.
On another note the AED is toast......Batteries are low (constant beep every minute!) and need to be replaced (10x CR123 batteries) plus pads Expire on June 2023. I'll have to contact Matt and get replacements for the spring.

The Lipo battery is completely unreliable I have cycled it twice , got it up to 80% and it bleeds off the charge as you watch it on my tester. It will have to be replaced before that plane can fly again in the spring (alpha 40) it is a 1450maH 2S Battery. Or we can replace it with a NICAD OR NIMH

Those with transmitters, make sure the AAs are removed for winter so they don't leak. Tks

I have the Apprentice, along with the two transmitters. I have no lipo batteries to suit the plane. And the dry cells have been removed from the transmitters. All stored warm and dry in the basement shop. Regards

Kevin Campbell and I paid a visit to the field this afternoon to check conditions and storage. Everything is just as it was when winterized back in the Fall. The roof on the wooden shed still needs replacement shingles installed and the metal shed really needs grinding and paint. we checked the runways for potholes and there are a couple spots in need of some fill. Also the runway centre lines and pilot station line need some paint, so any left over from the painting of sheds will need to be put on the runways.
Can't wait to fly again.
