Found out this morning if you register a home built or custom RPAS you will be notified that there is no declaration (CAR 901.76). this means the RPAS may not be operated in the following situations: 1. within controlled airspace (Class A-F) 2. Over people
3. Near People
Therefore it looks like to ever fly at Shearwater all planes needs to be store bought. or comply IAW CAR 901.76
For me it means my 3D printed Ugly stick can never fly at Shearwater. also I will have to research and confirm each of my planes are complaint and try and find an owner's manual or build instructions for all my planes. All but a couple were purchased second/third hand without any documentation/manuals.

Dennis,
If there is a manual or assembly instructions from the manufacturer the plane should be good to fly within controlled airspace. It all depends on when you register a plane with TC what the certificate says. Have a read of CARS 901.76 and see if your plane(s) will be acceptable.
