Since the major rain storm hit. I now plan on checking up on our sheds out on the runway tomorrow for any damage. It would have been a real test for those shingles on the wooden shed.
I'm at Shearwater museum tomorrow morning and will go to the field after lunch before I head home. I'll update here what I find!

Well ...Great news Nothing damaged or destroyed at the field. Kevin Campbell met me out there and we surveyed everything including the grass height. Field is desperate for a mow.
We even paced off distances for runway centre line and pits etc. When we re-open we will need to paint new lines to define pits / pilot stations/ runway centre lines, etc.
Unbelievable that sorry roof on the wooden shed didn't leak! Metal shed is desperate for grinding and paint! IN fact both sheds need paint.

Nov Update!
AS I stated in today's indoor flying post . I paid a visit to the field and found it just as we left it. I have taken the Alpha 40 home with me for winter storage the place is ready for winter.
there are 4 sea-cans parked on the west end of the short runway next to fence stacked two high. no idea why they are there.
