Wow ! That will definitely be an eye full! Let us know when you plan on bringing her out !! I really want to see that fly as I have a Quadra 40 that I plan on putting in a 12' Telemaster and I want to see the engine performance.

Sweet. Man, you're building your fleet rapidly!

thanks, I happy with how it has turned out for fist time glassing and spraying, there are small imperfections i'll probably give it many dings moving the 1piece 101" wing around. I believe the quadra is a 35. Could it be a 40? There is only 1 ring on the piston. I have another one in my 85" ws Lanier Stinger that looks like this one. My wife says my fleet is enough plus these 1/4 scales take up alot of room.

Nice, any larger than 1/4 scale and you'll be able to give your wife a lift ;-)

I got this from someone getting out of the hobby. Its an older kit. It came with full size futaba 1/4 scale servos , they are huge, 3 or 4 times the size of normal ones.

HELP QUESTION: I can't find any info for control surface movements on my plans or book or even on-line for my tomahawk except for the real size tomahawk Flaps -Down 34 degrees Aileron- up 26 degrees down 14 degrees Rudder - left 29 degrees right 29 degrees Elevator- up 34 degrees down 20 degrees What would be a safe control measurement for these ?? Thanks Dennis
ps: engine installed , wow LOTS of power

It's tough to say for sure. You would probable be safe to start around 1/2" or so for low rates, and maybe 1" for high, then you can adjust as necessary after the maiden flights.

I have a tomahawk kit coming in - not quarter scale but one could assume ratio could be the same.
I'll look in the book when kit comes in

You could always just use a protractor, line it up on the end of the surface and set the angles you already have.

Top Flite is the same, they say you can order parts through them, you try, get told to order from your LHS, etc, etc. It's frustrating.

I guess I should of posted this before its maiden, but this is what it looked like before the maiden, hope to make it look like this again after todays hard landing. Seems to be all repairable (I hope ) I'm glad my smoker worked well. Attachments:

You've definitely thrown down the gauntlet, as the only member to have a smoke system. Think I'll have to work on rigging one for my super decathelon. I'm pretty confident you'll get all the repairs done in good time, and we'll see her again. In the spring we'll have to do some formation flying with smoke!
