Check this video of the jets. Look at some of the details of the cockpits and the movement of some of the heads of the pilots that move. Some very nice expensive toys!

I loved the LED displays in the cockpit as well as the moving pilot head.

Europeans have been at that kind of level since at least the early 90s when I lived in Germany. They are lightyears ahead of North America, always have been when it comes to RC.

I love watching anything from the jet world masters. If i'm not mistaken, fellow canadian graham mears built the award winning t-33 for this comp.

Last one I saw on video, was in Switzerland, and the Russian team kicked ass, amazing aircraft, both instrument panels had working EFIS and MFDs that could be changed, all internal lights, etc worked, and the pilot's head moved around to look where the aircraft was going next! Astounding.

A lot of work to organize, a lot! We need to get our membership numbers up, especially military, get new Executive people in place, but if people want to host a jet rally, or work on attracting a major competition, it can be done. Just got to have the will to do it!

Beautiful looking spot for a competition, probably not the best for actually flying though. Imagine you get lots of weird wind with all those mountains around.
