Nice plan to have that checkerboard on the bottom of the wing!! You sure it's not an ARF...The covering in the photos looks great!

Incredible job! Only thing I could possibly recommend, is some thin foam on the wing saddle, just to keep out any fuel, she's gorgeous! Can't wait for the Maiden. Hey, I've got a great planes F-15 Eagle and an F-14 Tomcat if you're looking for another project. The F-15 is supposed to be essentially a sport trainer, that looks like a jet, and the Tomcat is supposed to be super smooth and fun to fly! Also, if you look on RC Canada, a guy has a .46 sized Great Planes Cap 232 for sale, $80. Great price, and a super aerobatic machine, a great next step up from the Super Sportster. If you're looking to go warbird, I'd recommend Top Flite's P-40 or P-47, or the Corsair, of course.

The wing saddle does have foam strips. It was black so it looks like an opening. It will be changed to white when I get some.
I would like to do a war bird next. However I have been reminded of some other projects that need some attention. I have to get them done so when the weather comes I will have lots of time to fly.

NO!!! lol It's building season, no other projects matter. If you're bored sometime, I've got all of the Top Flite Warbirds the P-40, P-39, P-51 (3 actually), Spit, Sea Fury, and P-47. You can certainly take a look at kits in the box, and the ones that are built, or on the go, and do some comparison.

Oh, and forgot, you can go to either Great Hobbies, Tower Hobbies, or Top Flite Direct, and download any of their manuals, I've done that anytime I've ordered a kit I haven't built before, it's great for getting an idea of what is involved, what accessories you'll need, etc.

Very nice John. While philosophically I agree with Dave, practically speaking I agree with you.
You need to also do some projects around the household to make the "honey" happy
