Your Decathelon should be almost identical to Wayne's, grab his and you have a complete spare airframe! Thanks Dave, You should have called me...I've been building my Decathlon all day and haven't seen the posts .....of course the Decathlon is sold already !! Pictures of the tail feathers (dry Fit) coming soon!

Tail Feathers attached (hinged) ...NO Dave, not mono-cote hinges....Thanks for the belt /disc sander, it came in handy today. I had to vacuum 5 lbs of balsa dust out of it. ;D

I'm shocked and saddened that you didn't use monokote hinges. Oh, and no extra charge for the sawdust, it makes great filler.

I don't know if I would have put a door in your plane.
Pilot likely to bail out out once he finds out you're flying. ;-)

Furnace? You're an arctic warrior. Furnaces are for wimps. We had a toasty fire on last night. . . .

I didn't mind that part as I do that every day (glue my fingers to something) it was the sanding to get them perfectly square and true. Thank god you sold me that old belt / hortz sander Dave. Even so it took me close to 4 hours to do it right.
I still have to lightly sand them and paint them ....that will take another hour or two.

You still have one good arm, you big baby. Get back to work on your plane. Spring is just around the corner.
